This 1 kWp solar photovoltaic system was installed for an aquaculture start up company called Tigawan. Located in the middle of Sungai Brunei, this fish farm has no access to the national grid.
With a 1,000 watts inverter and 400 Ah batteries, this system has the capability to power 3 sets of ceiling fans, 5 fluorescent lamps, a television set and occasional big loads such as fish blender.
The platform housed 3 full time farmers.
